Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
Position Summary
The Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) provides clinical support under the supervision of a BCBA and is responsible for implementing behavior intervention programs, conducting assessments, analyzing data, supporting Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and assisting with treatment planning. The BCaBA plays an essential role in ensuring high-quality ABA services are delivered to clients and their families while maintaining compliance with clinical and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities
Direct Clinical Services
- Provide behavior analytic services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention programs developed by the supervising BCBA.
- Deliver direct and indirect clinical services in accordance with BACB standards and organizational policies.
- Support client skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals through evidence-based ABA practices.
Assessment & Data Collection
- Conduct assessment probes, observations, and caregiver interviews as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Assist with the administration of assessments and collection of clinical information.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret client data to monitor treatment effectiveness.
- Provide recommendations and observations to support clinical decision-making.
Treatment Planning & Case Management
- Participate in case review meetings and peer discussions regarding client progress.
- Contribute to treatment plan development through clinical observations, recommendations, and active participation in team discussions.
- Assist with identifying opportunities for intervention adjustments based on client performance and data trends.
Staff & Clinical Support
- Provide support and guidance to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) under the direction of the supervising BCBA.
- Participate in clinical trainings and professional development activities.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure consistency in treatment implementation.
- Complete additional clinical duties and special projects as assigned.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Ensure all required reports, service notes, and assessment materials are completed by designated deadlines.
- Coordinate assessment materials and required information from parents and caregivers.
- Present documentation to the supervising BCBA for review and signature during scheduled supervision meetings.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, BACB standards, payer requirements, and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Current Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification.
- Ability to maintain BCaBA certification in good standing.
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative clinical team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Performance Review Schedule
Performance evaluations are conducted every six months during the first year of employment and annually thereafter.
