IBM's Lakeland ABA Center

Our therapy center for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) focuses on providing evidence-based interventions to help individuals with behavioral challenges, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), downs syndrome, and other developmental disabilities. Our center offers a calm, structured environment with various therapy rooms designed for individual or group sessions.

Innovative Behavior Management Inc is located at 3308 Cleveland Heights Blvd in Lakeland, FL.  The therapy center boasts over 5,000 sq feet of space for your child to learn and play!  

We are pleased to offer services in our center in these capacities.  

Private Therapy Rooms: These are equipped with sensory-friendly materials, visual supports, and appropriate furniture that help children focus and feel comfortable. Each room may be tailored to the needs of the child, with specific learning tools and reinforcement systems in place.

Play and Social Skills Area: These spaces are dedicated to facilitating social interaction, where children engage in structured play activities with therapists and/or peers. This is vital for teaching social skills, communication, and appropriate behavior.

Consultation Rooms and Offices: These spaces are where clinicians meet with parents or caregivers to discuss therapy progress, goals, and strategies for carrying over interventions into the home or school settings.

Specialized Equipment: Our center provides opportunities to support sensory integration, such as swings, calming lights, and/or tactile toys, to help individuals self-regulate and engage more effectively in therapy.

Our therapists (RBT’s) are all certified by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board.  RBT’s are responsible for the implementation of individualized behavior interventions and treatment for you child.  We have Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs) and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA’s) to ensure appropriate oversight and support daily on your child’s treatment.  

Our center is structured yet flexible, providing a balance of routine and adaptability to meet each individual’s unique needs. The overall goal is to increase positive behaviors, teach new skills, and reduce challenging behaviors in a compassionate and respectful way.
