My name is Darlene, and I am a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with a year of hands-on experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I chose to become an RBT because I have two younger brothers with autism, and I witnessed my mother navigate a system that often lacked accessible resources in Spanish. That experience sparked my passion for helping families feel seen and supported, which led me to pursue both my RBT certification and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. As a Registered Behavior Technician, I provide one-on-one support to neurodivergent individuals, focusing on building independence, strengthening communication, and implementing behavior intervention strategies in a compassionate way. I am committed to providing individualized care that meets each client where they are, while creating a supportive and engaging environment. Outside of work, I enjoy going on hikes, trying new recipes, and traveling to explore new places!
